Contemporary art is a mirror of our society, a space where emotions, ideas and reflections on our human condition.
Entitled ‘Reflection Mirrors’, this exhibition invites you to plunge into the fascinating world of Dayamí Hayek, an artist whose works question our relationship to the world around us as well as to our own facets. Using a variety of materials and daring techniques, each work is a mirror, both literal and metaphorical, confronting us with our own reflections and questions.

We invite you to explore and discover how contemporary art can become a powerful tool for inner and outer dialogue through the unique voice of Dayamí Hayek, we invite you to take part in an immersive trip in which visitors not only witness Hayek's creations, but are also actors in their own experience. We invite you to project yourself into these works, to perceive their nuances and re-evaluate your own realities through the prism of art.
The Artist
Dayamí HAYEK
Dayamí Hayek, born in 1973 in Havana, Cuba, began her artistic career after completing her studies at the University of Havana. She later settled in Sitges, Spain—an emblematic town on the Catalan coast, renowned for its artistic heritage and proximity to Barcelona.
Over the years, Dayamí has drawn from her experience in interior design to develop her own artistic style. Her work is distinguished by the bold use of unconventional materials and vibrant color palettes. Her boundless creativity allows her to craft unique and surprising artworks that awaken the senses in unexpected ways.
Her instinctive approach to color and texture is evident in every piece she creates. By skillfully blending various materials, she captures the very essence of her surroundings, merging the influences of her Cuban heritage with landscapes and cultures from around the world.
Through her works, Dayamí celebrates the diversity and complexity of the world around her. Each composition is an invitation to explore new perspectives and discover beauty in the unexpected. Her art transcends geographical and cultural boundaries, securing her place among the most innovative contemporary artists of our time.
Her works are a dynamic interplay of color and critique, infused with hope. Using techniques such as collage and mixed media, Dayamí intentionally and clearly provokes reflection and contemplation on issues such as environmental pollution, women's rights, world peace, racism, environmental protection, and the impact of technology, among others. Each of her pieces carries a meaningful story to be shared.
